Been caught in a whirlwind of orders with the festive season coming up. Christmas is indeed my favourite time of the year as with many of you out there. Loved ones coming home, exchanging gifts, enjoying time together over a hearty meal and most importantly rejoicing in the birth of Christ. A fresh outlook only calls for new recipes. Every now and then, I enjoy trying out different recipes to bake and here are some of them.

It is a two layer sponge cake filled with a layer of jam in between.
